Each package includes the private boat for your group, life jackets, a local boatman and the route you choose. Food and drinks bought on the way are extra.

Is the boat private or shared?

Our rides are booked per boat, so your group travels on its own. A standard motorboat seats about seven guests; larger groups use two boats.

Why do Poovar boating rates vary so much?

Rates differ by boat type (motorboat or shikara), the duration of the ride and the season. News reports have also noted that some jetty operators charge widely different prices to walk-in tourists, so it pays to fix the price before you go.

Can I add the Golden Sand Beach stop?

Yes. The longer lagoon tour includes a beach landing. Ask for it when you book if you choose a shorter ride.

Do you offer pick-up and drop from Kovalam or Trivandrum?

Yes, pick-up and drop can be arranged on request. Tell us your location and timing and we will quote it with the boat ride.
